For the first time ever, one of Sydney’s largest entertainment centres is opening its “stage door” to students from primary through to high school. The Pavilion is excited to introduce The Creative Crew — a comprehensive work experience program that covers everything from production and audio-visual tech, to box office operations, arts journalism and more.
Applications have closed for 2025 and there are no longer any places available for work experience this year. Thank you to everyone who submitted an application, we’ll see you in October!
2026 applications will open in the new year.
A select team of 10–12 primary students (years 3-6) will form a festival media crew, gaining hands-on experience as performance reviewers, reporters, and broadcast presenters. In partnership with local radio and media outlets, their published work will provide an authentic introduction to arts journalism.
