Fifty years to the day since the Sutherland Civic Centre first opened its doors, we filled the newly renovated Sutherland Pavilion with music, memory and community. Led by Emma Pask and Alex Baum, the one-night-only gala brought together emerging and returning Shire artists alongside the community arts groups who’ve shaped this place for half a century — followed by canapés and conversation in the Foyer.
