Sutherland Music Club is back for its 68th year, once again bringing a variety of wonderful music to the local community at an affordable cost.
With five amazing concerts scheduled throughout 2025, and a diverse line-up of top professional and up-and-coming artists, this is a club you can’t afford not to join!
The exciting lineup for 2025 is:
9th February: “The Honeymakers Big Band”
13th April: “Kevin Hunt Trio” – Jazz
10th August: “Café of the Gate of Salvation” – Gospel Choir
12th October: “The Estivo Trio” – Piano, Violin, Cello
23rd November: “Dana Alison (Flute) and Friends”
To whet your appetite, up first are “The Honeymakers”, a 20-piece ensemble bringing the timeless thrill of big band music to life. Their extensive repertoire spans everything from the golden era of jazz and swing, to Latin, dance and popular hits. They’ll pay tribute to legends like Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Frank Sinatra, and perhaps some modern favourites from Michael Bublé, Blood Sweat & Tears, and even Queen! Items will include favourites such as “Unforgettable”, “Mack The Knife”, “The Way You Look Tonight”, “Almost Like Being in Love”, “Sway” and “I Will Survive”.
Sutherland Music Club is a not-for-profit organisation under the umbrella of the Federated Music Clubs of Australia. Its mission is to bring great music to the local community at an affordable cost.
