Take a fascinating musical trip across the globe – without leaving home – as The Marais Project presents songs and instrumental music from England, France, Italy, Germany, and Sweden. The programme features music by well know giants of the baroque era such as Bach, Monteverdi, and Purcell, alongside works by lesser-known composers including the “Swedish Schubert,” Carl Michael Bellman, and the Frenchman, Marin Marais. Lyrical works by Australian musicians Troy Russell, Isaac Nathan and Susie Bishop round out the program and complement the baroque focus.
