To whet your appetite, first up on Sunday 11th February at 2pm is the 7-piece Latin American group, “Sonido”. From the haunting sounds of the Andes to the rich rhythms and melodies of Cuba, Mexico and Venezuela, to pop, rock and jazz sounds, SONIDO’s music is a journey around Latin America and beyond.
Contrast this with the magical sounds of Louise Johnson, one of Australia’s leading harpists, who’ll present “Harp’s Journey” with an array of harps on stage at the September concert.
Sutherland Music Club is a not-for-profit organisation under the umbrella of the Federated Music Clubs of Australia. Its mission is to bring great music to the local community at an affordable cost. 2024 will be the Club’s 67th Year!
