Miranda Musical Theatre Company – the Shire’s premier community theatre production company – is ready to rock its way into The Pavilion Performing Arts Centre this September for its debut production of The School of Rock.
As the film celebrates its 20th Anniversary in 2023, Miranda Musical Theatre Company is delighted to bring this cult movie-turned-musical to the Shire, for one week only.
With music and lyrics by Andrew Lloyd Webber, the musical features wannabe rockstar Dewey Finn, who decides to earn some extra cash by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There, he finds the rock band he always dreamed of fronting, albeit, with his musically gifted students.
Featuring fan-favourite songs from the film, as well as 14 original numbers by Webber, don’t miss Miranda Musical Theatre Company’s production of School of Rock at the Pavilion Performing Arts Centre this September.
