This production is taking place at the Sutherland Arts Theatre on East Parade, a 5-minute walk from The Pavilion.
After the success of Winter Wonder Man; A Christmas in July Cabaret, this heart-filled story will be returning to the Sutherland Arts Theatre.
They say to never judge a book by its cover. It is not until you know the real story that you truly know someone.
“After seeing this show you can judge me all you like.”
Be transported to the small town that is Helensburgh in the 1990s, and join Michael Astill on a journey through his life, with the magic of music.
Celebrate the highs and the lows, the winters and the wonders, in this re-staged show, with all the classics, the honesty, the raw emotion and a few new surprises.
Explore what it was like to grow up in a small town, obsessed with their two religions, Catholicism and Rugby League, when you were clearly the “creative” type, and the hurdles this creates.
With special guests Ellie Phillips, Lynley Fuller and Virgina Natoli, these stories will have you laughing, reminiscing and crying but most of all, teach you the true power of love & resilience.
“This show resonates with people of every age. I laughed and I cried. There is a message for everyone to take away from Winter Wonder Man.”
