An exciting and challenging opportunity for students to discuss literature and ideas with some of the world’s most exciting creative voices.
Over four 45-minute sessions, award-winning authors share insights into the writing process, invite students to consider new perspectives, and encourage them in their own creative pursuits.
Bestselling author Jeremy Lachlan (Jane Doe and the Quill of all Tales) reveals what it takes to craft an epic blockbuster; American writer and electrifying presenter Jason Reynolds (Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You) emboldens students to tell their own story; Jane Godwin (A Walk in the Dark) reveals how to shape creative ideas into a compelling story; and Lili Wilkinson (A Hunger of Thorns) shares the imaginative process behind effective world-building.
Secondary School Days is programmed with students in Years 7 to 10 in mind but is suitable for all high-school students.
